"We installed a Velteko vertical form, fill & seal machine Model HSV101B STEP in 2014 for use in our wafers/baked goods department. The machine works in combination with a Yamato 14-head weigher.

The machine is equipped with various formats for both Quad & Pillow-pack bags. We use it for packaging various chocolate-coated products such as wafer cubes, pretzels, clusters, salty snacks, cookies, etc. 

We mainly use Bopp30/Met Bopp30 laminated for Quad bags and Boop20/Met Boop20 for Pillow-pack bags. We sometimes use other laminate films too. We make bags ranging from 40 g to 250 g size, but could make larger sizes in future.

The machine has proven very reliable and meets our requirements for both speed and bag quality. The start-up is relatively small compared to our other VFF&S machines.

The commissioning and training in our facility by Velteko's technician was very professional. We would be happy to recommend this machine/supplier to any serious potential client."
